Walla Walla Valley Annual Kitchen Tour on Facebook
Each year, in early October, six to eight local residents with fabulous kitchens open their homes for community tours. AAUW sponsors this event and monies generated contribute to scholarships and other educational projects. New kitchens, remodeled classic kitchens, professional restaurant kitchens and turn-of-the century kitchens provide eager ticket holders a unique chance to see what’s new, what’s fabulous, and what’s happening locally.
This is another excellent event to meet others and contribute to the mission.
AAUW of Washington State on Facebook: www.facebook.com/aauw.washington
AAUW of Washington State is made up of great, fun loving members who belong to branches from the tips of the Olympic Peninsula in the west to the Palouse and Tri-Cities areas in the far southwest to Omak-Okanogan region to the north.
We are rural and urban, big and small. We are even virtual with our online branch. Our activities reflect the diversity of our communities - book sales, get-out-the-vote campaigns, fundraisers, scholar programs - all serve the needs of our members, their communities, and the mission of AAUW.
We are different, but we are the same, and we enjoy getting to know each other at conventions and other state meetings.
